KING YESHUA did **not** verbally confront, challenge, and condemn some of the people who were Pharisees “just because” they happened to be Jewish leaders. Rather, He verbally attacked the people who claimed to know about GOD’S Holiness and man’s sinfulness, but who did **not** regret and hate their own sinful thoughts and behaviors, while simultaneously putting heavy burdens on others. And to top it all off, they neglected to care for others in the ways PAPA Commanded in His Written Word.
So… if I claim to accept PAPA’S Holy Life as Lord in my life (am “born-again”), AND I recognize I still have a sinful nature, AND I cry out to PAPA for His Mercy in my fallen condition, AND I rigorously wrestle to bring every thought captive to The LORDSHIP of KING YESHUA (albeit, imperfectly), AND I turn FROM my sin in thought-word-attitude-actions AND turn TOWARDS PAPA — to HIS Great Love! — AND I serve others as KING YESHUA Commands me to — then, and only then, am I **NOT** being a “Pharisee.”
Otherwise, I am being like the ones in PAPA’S Holy Word who claimed Him as their King, but denied His Authority over ALL areas of their lives.
Since I don’t want to deny PAPA’S Lordship in my life, I will be REQUIRED to **deny** my sinful nature.
And this is an extremely important part:
Sin is determined by PAPA, **not** by my feelings, or the world, or the culture, and definitely not by my arch enemy, satan.
So… here are the questions:
Who am I listening to?
Who am I obeying?
Who am I worshipping?
Who am I serving?
And in all of that, how is my attitude?
PAPA has been Faithful in Shining His Light on my darkness! HalleluYAH!!!
How would PAPA answer those questions in regards to your life?
If you are like me, you fail in many areas, and you succeed in other areas.
PAPA Celebrates with you in your areas of victory!
🤠🤠🤠👍👍👍😘😘😘
And… He Cries for you, as KING YESHUA Wept over Jerusalem, to repent in the areas where you are disobeying Him.
😢😢😢
Will you repent right now of each and every area in your life that is contrary to Him and His Living Word?
Will you surrender to PAPA? Or will you surrender to being a Pharisee?
I hope you choose HIS Great Love!
I’m going to trust Him. You can, too, because He truly is GOOD!!! HalleluYAH!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love how you characterize Pharisees as those who claim to know God yet don’t accept his authority over any area of their lives. I am also reminded of how jealous they were of Jesus. And the irony of them plotting to kill Lazarus, and Jesus, after Christ raised him from the dead. When so many believed, the Pharisees acted contrary to what was expected of them, proving who their real father was.

Hey there, Faith!!
I thank you for not only reading, but for taking the time and energy to reply – – much appreciated!
I also thank you for your enCOURAGEment to me to write!
Shalom, dear sister!
(P.S. Just for clarification — it’s not that the Pharisees didn’t allow *any* authority — it’s that they did not allow *all* authority over their lives.)
